Beach proposal
Cemagi, Bali
June 4, 2024
A love story made in dreams! Phil from Hamburg, Germany met Carla about 2 years ago during a short vacation in Bali. Carla is from Manila, Philippines, and has been living in Bali already for a few years by that time. From the first date, they have spent every free minute with each other, but soon Phil had to go back home. Over the following months, they kept staying in contact with each other and also flew across the world to spend time together. Fast forward, Phil decided to quit everything he had built in Germany and move for his love on the other side of the world.
Even though Carla lived in Bali for a couple of years already and knew all the beautiful places, Phil wanted to make her speechless with his surprise. Carla was introduced us as a fashionista who loves aesthetics and little details. To make sure that this surprise would be a full success, Phil put the execution in our hands. He asked for a beach proposal, but not a classic one, on Uluwatu's white sand beaches - No! He wanted to have the special beauty of the sun rays making the black sand of Seseh sparkle in their brightest color. He wanted all decoration elements in white and an arch in heart shape.
We felt blessed to organize a proposal for clients who actually met each other and built a life in Bali. The first thing we did was to find the perfect spot on the beach, which was secluded for lots of privacy as well as giving the black sand vibes Phil was asking for.
Two days before the proposal we sent Phil our "Proposal KIT" which would give him further information about the day and instructions about how to reach the place of the proposal.
The idea was to surprise Carla during a beach walk, where they would walk closer and closer to the arch. The spot was just behind some coastal corner, so Phil could put a blindfold above her eyes just being a few minutes away, making the surprise even more exciting.
"Verena & Lisa did the impossible! Every little detail looked so cute and when I saw the photos I started to cry again. Seriously, you created such an emotional and intimate moment for us and we felt so connected with Bali's magic."
